Early Bird Special on sale now!

Plans are already under way for the 10th Annual Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival, to be held August 8-10, 2008. This is going to be some celebration — bigger and better than ever! We’re pulling out all the stops to commemorate our tenth year of festival triumphs. Expect a loaded-with-fun weekend featuring a Silent Movie Night with Frederick Hodges and Keith Taylor, two Gala Festival Concerts with our headliners, and six practically non-stop venues to choose from. A special youth concert, so you can hear where the future of ragtime is going, and many more surprises are in the works.

All-Events badges, which include the two special concerts, are now on sale for the early bird price of $55, if ordered by July 15, 2008. The price increases to $65 after that. Youth 16 and under attend free with a paying adult. Day badges and individual concert tickets will also be available.

Also, a pre-festival “open piano” event will take place on Thursday, August 7th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Greenhorn Creek Resort, 711 McCauley Ranch Road, near Angels Camp. All are welcome. Come and hear some of the festival performers warming up for a lively weekend. Others wishing to play, may do so in this “open piano” setting. Greenhorn Creek Resort is a great place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a musical evening.
