This should be your entry point for ragtime on the internet! The WCRS site has extensive links to other ragtime sites and maintains a current calendar of ragtime events.  In addition, they present their annual West Coast Ragtime Festival in Sacramento each November. They also list ragtime performers and vendors of ragtime recordings, folios, and books.
The Scott Joplin International Ragtime Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote an understanding and appreciation of Joplin's contribution to ragtime music, along with the historic importance connected with Sedalia, Missouri. The Foundation produces the popular and long-running Scott Joplin Festival each year in Sedalia.
This is the ragtime society of our neighboring flatlanders. Visit their website for directions and additional information. Normally meets the last Sunday of each month (no meetings in May and November) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. There is no charge for admission or membership. They publish a monthly newsletter with events calendar for a $16 annual subscription fee.
The Charles Templeton Ragtime/Jazz Festival is held every March on the Mississippi State University campus. Sponsored by the University Library and the Charles Templeton Sr Music Museum, the festival serves as a means of enhancing research in the area of ragtime music, and introducing people to the sounds of ragtime being performed by world-renowned ragtime musicians. The festival features a blend of concerts, seminars and tours of the museum. The university also maintains a sheet music digital archive which contains a large amount of ragtime music that you can download for free.
